I was looking for long to contribute in some open source projects but was
searching relevant projects where my skills can be utilised maximum. My
query is as there are many people contributing in infrastrucuture. How
credentials according to access level are managed and shared in community?
Currently our credentials sharing is done with a tool called FAS2. It
is being looked at upgraded to a newer generation of code. The FAS2 is
queried by each system and the accounts are set up on the system that
it is supposed to have on it. Users who are allowed onto the systems
who can get root access either do it through sudo or a sudo wrapper
script.
Looking forward for a great time! Cheers :)
Best Regards,
Amit Kumar Sharma
