Cas N° 67
changement.
2. Connaissez-en précisément les étapes.
3. Apprenez à l’appliquer à vos projets.
4. Renforcez vos compétences de manager.

Fedora automatic excludes not working?
by Harri Salminen
Hi,
I've used the URL
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/rsyncFilter?categories=Fedo...
500 Internal error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from
fulfilling the request.
to generate the fedora automatic excludes list which used to speed up
mirroring significantly but it seems to have
stopped after May 19th. And now after July 12th mirroring took nearly a
week and it still takes several days and usually fails
in middle of transfer. Even before that mirror times have increased
significantly making the mirror less usefull for users.
I've been using ftp2.kernel.org with account funetfi and
t2-fedora-enchilada target. I used to use ftp4.kernel.org
which then moved from Sweden to California. Now I'm trying it again but
don't think it's that fast. Will try public
enchilada in heanet.ie after that.
Is there better suggestions for targets for a t2 mirror in Europe? I
don't see the enchilada0 nor suggested buffet0 available on those hosts
nor in tu-chemnitz which would be close. I do get epel from
rsync.mirrorservice.org without problems, but that's not on the tier1
list and is much smaller.
My current fedora mirror status is at
http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/files/mirrors/status/monitor.html?mirrorid=fe...
Error means some rsync error code, could just be wrong permissions on
one file or failed in the middle. Bit
hard to decipher except by looking at the logs. The stats show amounts
transferred and time it took (600 000 seconds is about a week) so
usually it does transfer a lot but report mirror seems to have reported
it as incomplete in mirror manager.

Call For Papers
The Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers unprecedented opportunities to interconnect human beings as well as Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, whereby sensors and networks allow all ‘things’ to communicate directly with each other to share vital information and allow us to have an instrumented universe where accurate data is readily available to inform optimal decision making. The IoT would enable a range of new capabilities and services far beyond today’s offerings which will radically change how people go about their lives. According to Cisco IBSG’s prediction, the number of objects connected to the Internet is set to reach 25 billion by 2015 and 50 billion by 2020. The scale of the IoT is set to have a major economical, social and environmental impacts; the intersection of which forms the future sustainable growth. The Internet of Things: Systems, Management and Security (IOT_SMS) workshop will be held in conjunction with 11th ACS/IEEE International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications (AICCSA' 2014) The IOT_SMS workshop aims at soliciting original ideas on the broad area of IoT including challenges and opportunities, concepts and applications and future trends. The workshop aims to facilitate discussions amongst academics and IoT practitioners and make positive contributions to the field. Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts. Submitted papers should be in accordance with IEEE format, and will be reviewed by at least two expert reviewers in terms of relevance, originality, contribution, correctness, and presentation. Accepted papers will be published by IEEE press and will be indexed by IEEE Xplore.
The topics of interest for this workshop include, but are not limited to:
Emerging concepts of the IoT
Design methodologies for IoT
Novel services and applications of IoT to facilitate environmental responsibility
Green by Internet of Things
IoT and Social benefits/impact
IoT Economics
Emerging Internet of Things business models and process changes
