hi:
our team would like to apply for a public mirror.
our site is
mirrors.163.com and the ip address is 60.191.81.189 in
China, the bandwith is 100Mbps.
Thank you for this! You are the second public mirror we have in
mainland China.
I see you have already entered your data in the MirrorManager
database. I completed this by adding a URL to your Fedora content.
You are now servicing mirror requests.
May I ask, can you tell us how much Fedora traffic (bandwidth,
requests/sec) you are seeing being requested? We are trying to add
additional mirrors in China, but we don't have a good feel for how
many Fedora users we have in China, nor how much bandwidth they
require. As you are one of the two public mirrors there, you are
likely serving about half of the users. If you can report how much
traffic you are seeing, it will help us get additional mirrors to ease
the burden for everyone.
Thanks,
Matt
