GSoC schedule for students - After application process

Dear Students,
Please find the Fedora project schedule after the deadline for the
students application submission:
* May 3rd, 1900 UTC : Students application submitting deadline - Each
and every student should make sure, they have completed the student
application process.
* May 3rd to 5th : Initial review of student proposals by the mentors
* May 3rd to 6th : Student should complete a questionnaire (links will
be sent after 3rd May)
* May 4th, 1900 UTC : No update is allowed for the wiki proposal by the students
* May 21st, 1900 UTC : Deadline to send student recommendations
* May 27th, - Google announce the selected students
**IMPORTANT** :
* No new student application is accepted after the 3rd May, 1900 UTC
* Mentors and Org Admins may contact students time to time for more
information, therefore please make sure you check mails frequently,
try to have at-least response time of 1 day.
Do contact me if you have any issue with the schedule.

Hi John,
no need to apologize, I perfectly understand the payload the
mentors/co-mentors must have right now. I was just trying to understand
things.

Mentors - Instructions for student application review

Hi Mentors,
You should be excited as students since in few hours student application
deadline will be reach and then we need to start evaluating student
proposals.
here are the instruction for the first 3 days
* Students are allowed to update their wiki proposal page till 4th May 1900
UTC.
* Please review students proposals and help them to finalize them till 4th
May, 1900 UTC
* Then within 5th May, you need to determine whether you need a slot from
this year program based on the proposals submitted against your project
idea.(in some situations there are proposals but none is upto standard so
you dont think you need a slot) - So let me know if you need slot (email me
directly)
* If you dont not request a slot that means you dont want a slot, only
requested slots are counted.
* Then you need to keep evaluating proposals till you make your final
selection, I ll write more about those in weekend.
If there is anything that is not clear please let me know.
I ll send you links to proposals that followed application process and
complete the process successfully.

Hi.
Is one day left until the time for apply to gsoc will finish, so I wish to
to know, as we chat yesterday on the irc chanel, if everything is OK.(steps
to apply, documentation, ...) . In other hand I still don't know who is the
mentor of the project that I'm applying for (Web Hosting Control panel). I
would like to contact him/her.

[GSoC] Final reminder - Students

Hi Students,
It is quite a busy time to handle inquires from many students who waited
till the last minute.
Anyway we have less than 1 day to go, Student application deadline is
reaching.
Is there any student who completed the application process[1] with sending
me documents and student application URL but waiting without getting the
URL to place the proposal in fedora wiki?
If there is anyone you should let me know asap.
If you get a URL to place your proposal then you should make sure that it
is updated and complete before May 4th, 1900 UTC. If you get the URL for
the proposal that means you have completed application process and only
remaining this is filling the proposal wiki page under the sent URL.
We will stop sending URL for the proposal by the deadline and anyone with
no URL for the proposal will miss the chance for GSoC 2013 with Fedora
project.
