know which work without pressing apply?
i got here because I was trying to deal with an issue of Firefox ,the
fonts for drop-down box and for page headers were way too small to read
I found that if I decrease the resolution value that the characters came
much more readable.
so I was walking that list of options to see which one looks best when I
get hung out to dry
now I know what to fix to deal with it I can map out what works
It will automatically revert the resolution after you select Apply and
don’t confirm it works in the confirmation dialog. Just wait 30 seconds.
If it is really messing up your display in such a way that the display
never reverts, and is somehow still saving the resolution, that’s a bug and
should be reported. However it should do that. The only thing I can think
of is that you somehow blindly clicked the button last time.
definitely a possibility. thx again, jackc...
