&gt;     Step 0:service dirsrv stop;service dirsrv-admin stop &gt;&gt; Most Important<br>
&gt;     Step 1: Delete dirsrv under /etc<br>
&gt;     Step 2: Delete setup* under /tmp<br>
&gt;     Step 3: yum remove 389-*<br>
&gt;     Step 4: Restart the Server: Reason: Port 389 remains open<br>
&gt;     Step 5:yum install 389-*<br>
&gt;     Step 6: Now everything will go fine.<br>
&gt;<br>
