When I try to add that attribute I get an:<br>

ldapmodify: Server is unwilling to perform (53)<br>
additional info: Unwilling to apply nsslapd-changelogmaxsize
mods while the server is running<br>

Is there some kind of special procedure to add that one?<br>

I guess you'll have to shutdown the server, edit dse.ldif, then
start up the server.<br>
