Fedora has been using upstart by default since Fedora 9
(http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Upstart) and will continue to do
so for Fedora 14 as well.  Fedora 14 Alpha shipped with systemd by
default for evaluating the feasibility of switching to it but FESCo has
decided to postpone the switch till Fedora 15.  In current Rawhide,
systemd has become default again and has obsoleted upstart completely in
anticipation of making it default for Fedora 15.   If you have any
