SUBJECT: Re: Contents of ambassadors digest...<br><br><br>Just to correct ill-informed minds, I was never an ambassador in the first place. So we can happily dispose of the statement from whoever stated it. <br>Just like one of our friends has pointed out, the last picture on the bottom of the flyer with the dude on the far right with the thumb and pinky finger extended outwards does NOT represent O.G. or Original Gangster. I am not sure in other cultures/countries, but here in the good 'ole USA, that picture does NOT show any signs of O.G. It means good luck and ride high and good waves!! So lets drop this issue and move on. Probably a more productive way to address this in the first place would be to first advise the marketing team, instead of the whole mailing list.....I'm just saying my 2 cents :)<br>

editable .odt format from the link on the wiki.<br>
<br>
I suggest you update them a little, mainly on two points :<br>
<br>
* New mailing list<br>
* Current "edge" features<br>

Great job. It is important to have those flyers, but I have just one<br>
more thing to put in consideration here.<br>
<br>
Why don't we say more clearly that Fedora is alternative to Windows or<br>
Mac OS?<br>
<br>
People might get bit confused if we just say it is an operating system<br>
based on Linux. There are a huge group of people out there who does not<br>
understand what is an operating system. They know Windows and they may<br>
know Mac or Linux (as one system), but they are not familiar with Fedora<br>
brand/"trade-mark".<br>
<br>
I think we should say more clearly the whole thing. Like:<br>
<br>
"Fedora Linux OS" or "Linux Fedora OS".<br>
<br>
Also I think we should say everywhere that it is _free_ alternative to<br>
Windows and OSX. I think this is the only way to get Fedora more known<br>
within "ordinary" and "non-tech" people.<br>

... and I took the English Version and translated it to german and<br>
pasted it into the wiki.<br>
I know its maybe a little bit to late for the actual ongoing FAD in<br>
M?nchengladbach, my apologies, but hopefully it can be used on some<br>
upcoming events.<br>
My only change other then translating it was to change the Mailinglist<br>
URL. Other suggestions are welcome.<br>
