<div dir="ltr">i didn't see a lot of interactions after saying "let's work" which was depressing.<br>however, i want you to try this simple application which reads the Gmane fedora announces feed (Thanx to Kevin who helped me in getting this feed) & post the new notifications to the D-Bus notifications.<br>
i didn't try it on gnome, so, i ask that gnome people would help us & make sure the program does work on gnome.<br><br><a href="http://fpaste.org/KDOM/">http://fpaste.org/KDOM/</a><br clear="all"><br>there are two files. the first is last_check, which you should make it writeable by the world. the other is the application which you can call it anything such fns.py & run it.<br>
