Niels,<br>I have done a small amount of research a while ago with the intention of delving in deeper into it. However my life got in the way as I am currently moving out!<br><br>In response to your questions, which I can not answer very well!<br>
<br>1. I have heard no mention of JTAG or similar for the Vega, but this doesn't mean it doesn't exist!!<br>2. With regards to drivers I havent got around to building my own Ubuntu rootfs for my Vega so I don't know however there is this build:<br>

3. It is possible to boot off of the microSD slot, I doubt it could be booted off the USB port though.<br><br><br>This tablet has the advantage of being cheap and powered by the current generation hardware (Tegra 2), but is let down by its display.<br>
The reason I joined this list was because I wanted to see the feasibility of creating a Fedora 15 Tablet edition (wanted Gnome 3), so I would be willing to help though I have a lot to learn!!<br><br>Stuart<br><br><br><br>

so, maybe you can answer some of the following questions?<br>
- Is it possible to use a serial-console and/or attach a JTAG debugger?<br>
- Are all required drivers available in the mainline Linux kernel?<br>
- Does is require any non-public Xorg drivers (display, touch, ..)?<br>
- Can it boot from a non-internal (SD, USB-stick, ...) storage?<br>

Some colleagues/friends/etc would like to do some work for a Fedora<br>
Tablet edition, any details or pointers on what hardware is easy to use<br>
and develop on is much appreciated. When something serious takes off,<br>
this list will likely be one of the main communication channels.<br>
