 First off, I love the design.  That's a perfect telegraph.  What would you
 think about adding some little lightning bolts to indicate that it is
 "signalling" something?  Having the series follow tech evolution sounds
 great.  +1 to that!

 On the categorization, I am genuinely unsure.  :(  It is true that keeping
 the packages up to date in Fedora ensures a certain kind of quality for
 our packages.. but that's not the same kind of quality we talk about when
 we're usually talking about "software quality".  The other closest fit of
 a category is "development", so I think I'd vote to put this series there
 (in the development category/colorscheme).
