[Fedora-Bangladesh] Fedora 11 Leonidas Alpha released

The Fedora project is proud to present the availability of Fedora 11
Leonidas Alpha.

The Alpha should be able to boot on any system and it offers a peek into the
features that will be included in the final release. Of those, worth
mentioning are the experimental support for the Btrfs filesystem, stable
support for the breathtaking EXT4 filesystem, KDE 4.2, GNOME 2.26, Python
2.6, a new volume control, an exciting multi-seat support (multiple
peripherals can be connected at the same time on a single machine) and a
cross-compiler, allowing developers to build and test Windows applications
right from their Fedora box, without requiring a Windows OS installation.

· Xfce 4.6 Beta

The Fedora 11 (codename Leonidas) development will continue with a beta
release at the end of March, a Preview version at the end of April, and it
will conclude with the final release at the end of June or probably at the
beginning of July, 2009. Fedora 11 will be available for download as GNOME
and KDE Live CD editions for 32-bit and 64-bit platforms, and the usual
installable DVD editions.

Fedora 11 Release Schedule:

· February 5th, 2009 - Fedora 11 Alpha Release
· March 24th, 2009 - Fedora 11 Beta Release
· April 24th, 2009 - Fedora 11 Preview Release
· June 26th, 2009 - Fedora 11 Final Release
