Koji/mock do not use your host system's packages. Mock sets up a chroot
and installs the base packages in your build group and uses that
environment to compile your package.
Your root.log looks like your Koji is missing some setup steps. This is
what a working root.log should look like. Notice the yum package install
output that lists packages to be installed.
