FWIW these are both usages of the Fedora logo that are *not* in sync 
with our current usage guidelines. The sublogo font is not MgOpen Modata 
and they both violate the clear space rule as well.

The FUDcon logo and logomark is meant only for FUDcon events. If your 
event is not a FUDcon it is not a good idea to use the FUDcon logomark. 
You could use just the logotype though and omit the FUDcon-specific logo 
mark.

However through the logo queue I've provided an acceptable logo for the 
event so I hope you'll consider using that.
