Dear all,

Starting from gnome-terminal 3.7.0, new tabs no longer start from the
current working directory of the previously-active tab, but starts at
the user's home directory, unless a scriptlet is called as part of the
user's prompt:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=919643
https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-terminal/tree/NEWS

We should probably discuss if the recommendation should be part of
/etc/skel/.bashrc (and the ZSH equivalent), perhaps made conditional
on Bash/ZSH being started within a GNOME session.

Best regards,
