Because ultimately rel-eng is the Fedora entity responsible for making
good releases, because everyone will blame them if things go wrong, so I
sure hope they have veto power at critical release time

Join rel-eng, you want a share of the power, get a share of the blame.

This is not FE vs FC, this is having someone in charge at release time
and you won't find a lot of people here to say rel-eng or Jesse is
abusing this power.
