Thanks a lot for looking into this. Much appreciated!

Next week's is the feature freeze IIRC and also GUADEC. Which means I am
not really going to be around. Which is why I want the systemd switch
completed by the end of the week. I have prepped a patch with makes
upstart parallel installable with systemd, so that people can rescue
their systems with init=/sbin/upstart on the kernel command line, should
systemd break it. This should give as a smoother transition. Casey
OK'eyed that patch basically, but we were hoping for a second OK from
Bill, but he is on vacation, so i guess we'll have to do without it. Due
to that my plan is to release v4 tonight and upload Upstart and systemd
in a way that systemd is default and upstart can be installed as
alternative.

For the chkconfig stuff the deadline is not as crucial I think. I think
people running rawhide can deal with an "imperfect" chkconfig for
now. Of course, this change should be completed before we release F14,
and before admins get their fingers on this.

Kinda. I maintain this list in git:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/systemd/tree/fixme

However, it is a mishmash of english and a bit of german and you
probably need a bit of context to figure out what I mean by the items
listed. That list is primarily for myself, but it might be interesting
for other folks too which is why I commit it to git.
