Ext4 + barriers=1 + ssd + power loss while commiting to a git repo = broken repo?

Dan Berrangé and I were just wondering how it "knows" it's NTFS; what happens
for e.g. if you put an image of an NTFS volume inside an ext4 volume on one of
these things?

Kinda brings back memories of reiserfsck fun.
