# repoquery --whatrequires --recursive tritonus

I am not a Fedora packager, just a longstanding user, but I am a project admin
and heavy contributor to the FreeCol upstream. Tritonus (and vorbisspi) are
used to provide media support in freecol, so the above repoquery is correct to
show a dependency. However there are moves afoot to drop these dependencies,
which will hopefully land in the next FreeCol release (0.10.6). Predictably,
I can not give you a release date for 0.10.6, but `before F18' is likely. So,
if you wish to drop tritonus in F18, rest assured that is fine with us.

Cheers,
Mike Pope
