It affects also compilation, GDB was rebuilding for 10-15 minutes instead of
< 1 minute. I have provided even a reproducer for 1sec vs. 1min issue.
The Bug just got automatically closed without any human reply as almost all of
the kernel bugs.
btrfs: poor performance
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759304
I have filed more Bugs why btrfs is unusable, I had to switch back both my
hosts to ext4:
btrfs: No space left on device with 21GB available
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=857435
(after conversion to ext4 I had 50GB free on 150GB disk)
btrfs: Random `No such file or directory' on files not being changed at all
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759426
upstream kernel: btrfsctl -r: crash
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=830564
btrfs: general protection fault: set_extent_dirty
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=889775
