That is your opinion.  The opinion of the people that did the work differs.

There are no COPR repo files that are installed by default today,
which means none of them use this mechanism yet.  Which means there is
literally no change for any user at this time.  As I said, the Change
is informational.

If such repo files are installed by default, it will be at the
discretion of the various Working Groups not the Change proposer.

Stephen isn't the Change proposer, nor did he request the Change to be
developed.  However, you are correct in that I don't want to know what
you think of this.
