gdesklets reached level of obsolescence easily replaced by Gnome
Shell extensions and other variant from other desktop environment.
The current maintainer of gdesklets-citation <span class="username"><a
href="https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/packager/bioinfornatics/">bioinfornatics </a></span><span
class="branches"> (Jonathan Mercier) agreed to </span>retire
gdesklets and its plugins from Fedora 21 and upward effective
immediately.<br>
