yeah, I know the current process is horrible for you. ;) 

Using rpms as a intermediate step here for us is a pain, but we can
work out something. ;)

Thanks. ;) We hashed this out some more on irc and I think we have a
plan now. It's not super wonderfull for us, but we can live with it and
