* 50 years in IT, 25 in system modeling, capacity planning, and operations in line and management positions.
* 10+ years of writing, user, operations, marketing documentation.
* Technical writer, proofreader, entrepreneur. Past professor at junior college.
* 35 years as author of code in C, Assembler, Pascal derivative in the areas of mathematical algorithms (statistics, queuing models, capacity planning, cyberfraud prevention)
* 20 years of ERP systems implementations encorporating realtime processing,bar-coding, RFID and more in a HPUX, Solaris, AIX, IBM-MVS, DEC, Unix (various)environments.
* Database familiarity with Db2, Oracle, Postgres, et al.
* Hardware design for telemetering systems. Linux for the past 7 years.
Many of the above tasks were performed concurrently. (example, teaching, writing,analyzing)
I am fluent in English and French. With conversational and reading Spanish.

I am joining to do some active proof reading, and eventually writing, so that a non-English reader with basic English course could follow the English text by "direct read" or by using a translate program.
