 Can't you simply use the FEDORA-EPEL-YYYY-NNNN ?

 ie:

 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2011-0250

 In any case, wouldn't this be better to discuss with bodhi upstream rather
 than ask epel to change anything?
