Summary     : WMO FM-92 GRIB (v1,v2) interface accessible from C and FORTRAN programs
Description :
The ECMWF GRIB API is an application program interface accessible from C
and FORTRAN programs developed for encoding and decoding WMO FM-92 GRIB
edition 1 and edition 2 messages. A useful set of command line tools is
also provided to give quick access to grib messages.

Update Information:

Changes for Version 1.12.1:

- Bug fix: undesirable TIGGE soil moisture & temperature paramId change.  This is an important fix for a problem that caused regressions in TIGGE data recognition (GRIB edition 2)
- New wave model parameters added
- New parameters for additional 40r3 diagnostics

su -c 'yum update grib_api' at the command line.
