Wow, if THAT is what annoys you the most about KDE on Fedora, I'll take that 
as a compliment for KDE SIG. ;-)

As Rex wrote, this is really low on our priorities because it is purely 
cosmetical and eliminating that flicker requires quite some work 
(communication between KDM and Plymouth).
