@Kevin yes, sorry i forgot to install freetype-freeworld package.


[pravins at dhcp201-206 ~]$ xrdb  -query
Xft.antialias:    1
Xft.dpi:    96
Xft.hinting:    1
Xft.hintstyle:    hintslight
Xft.lcdfilter:    lcddefault
Xft.rgba:    rgb

I am getting better results.
