Proposal for FUDCon LATAM Valparaíso-Chile

Hi,
     I'm very glad to send yet another proposal for FUDCon
LATAM 2011.

The proposed location is between two cities in Chile,
Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, both located in Region de
Valparaíso.

Both cities are practically one and they're are cultural,
tourist and beach destinations. This means there's plenty
travel and lodging options for the guests.

The organization of the event would be a collaboration of
Universidad Central and Universidad Técnica Santa María.
Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, where the event
is proposed to be held, is by the sea, is a beatiful place, with
much history and has a lot of experience with Linux and
opensource, considered by some as the cradle of Open
Source in Chile.

In addition to the local team of UTFSM, which has
experience doing the biggest Linux related event in Chile,
the Encuentro Linux, the team of UCEN has a lot of
experience in Linux events and held the FUDCon-Santiago
2010.

We hope this proposal keeps up with the high standards of
those presented by Panamá and Brasil.
