<div dir="ltr">Hello all,<br>I'm using fedora 12 & firefox 3.5.8 . I'm having problem in opening sites like <br><a href="http://castrol.com">castrol.com</a>, <a href="http://iitr.ac.in">iitr.ac.in</a>, <a href="http://wordpress.com">wordpress.com</a>, etcetra . <br>
Firefox resolves the DNS but waits infinitely for the data to be transferred.<br>Somebody on IRC (#fedora) told me to change the DNS, which i don't think is a culprit. Nevertheless, i tried google public DNS, Norton DNS, open DNS as well as my ISP's DNS.<br>
<br>The same problem was encountered with Ubuntu 9.04 but Mandriva '08 loads it well. <br>Pinging can be done on the aforesaid sites, but as expected wget doesn't work for any of those.<br>Your suggestions would be helpful.<br>
