The very same crash will happen even with Eclipse downloaded from Eclipse.org. So would you please open a bug report about this in <a href="https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform" target="_blank">https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform</a> against SWT component with this proposal? I would like to hear from other SWT developers what side effects this might have before doing such a change.<br>
