Kmail keep being stuck "Retrieving Folder Content"

No, kmail still responding e.g. when I clicked around different folders,
the message windows just keep showing "Retrieving Folder Contents."

Apparently this happens when there is IMAP folders with large numbers of
messages (e.g. order of thousands). For example if I delete this particular
account from kmail, kmail seems to behave better. And I use this gmail
account for Fedora-KDE and Fedora-Users list (which obviously has tons of
messages). I just added this account back, and the stuck behaviour comes
back... <sigh>. I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this.
