There is a way to install multiple DEs from the installer: select the
'basic desktop' group on the left, and select the DEs you want from the
list on the right. It doesn't give you precisely the package set you get
from installing any of the DEs directly, though, which is another
problem...

There's also a bug report for the DVD package source no longer working:

which I really wish the PK folks would look at, because of this case.
