Chrome (35+) System Tray Issues and KDE

If you are running Chrome 35 with libappindicator, you will see the default
blank sheet of paper icon.  As I mentioned earlier, this is fixed by:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=362880

That fix is now available in the latest Chrome Unstable (currently Version
37.0.2041.4 dev).  It won't be available in stable until Chrome 37 rolls to
stable, which will most likely be sometime in August.

As far as Chrome starting automatically, are you referring to the
background apps?
