well, on the other hand with KDE4 it worked.....

i heard the same after the switch KDE3->KDE4, always the drivers where 
responsible, later it worked way better and now we face the same issues

honestly, KDE needs to face the real world instead a academic perfect 
one which don't exist and should stop to rewrite everythjing from 
scratch as soon things are starting to work smooth

frankly given the display errors with 3D effects i face on 
SandyBrdige/IvyBridge randomly never happened with F15-F21 i wonder for 
*which* hardware drivers KF5 was written........
