I find more or less the same problem on two laptops,<br>
admittedly both Thinkpads (T61 and T510).<br>
Could the problem have something to do with hardware?<br>
It seems unlikely.<br>

Someone said they had found a cure for the problem,<br>
but had forgotten what it was.<br>
If I found a cure I would definitely not forget it,<br>
as this bug is driving me mad.<br>
