I can tell you</div><div>that KDE Plasma definitely has issues with hangs, freezes, etc. and they aren't limited to Nvidia, </div><div>amd or intel... they seem to be pervasive. Of course you get the normal finger pointing with the</div><div>KDE crowd blaming the device drivers and the device driver folks blaming KDE. However, in my</div><div>instance the problem didn't occur with KDE4, doesn't occur with GNOME and doesn't happen with</div><div>LXQt. You can draw your own conclusions from that...
