The bug I reported to upstream is: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68061 That was for 3.13, so if you were running into a varient of the problem I was seeing, you should have seen it in 3.13. I did not see the problem with 3.14 or 3.15 pre-release kernels. I'm using raid 1 instead of raid 10.
