Yes Xorg doesn't use xorg.conf anymore, it uses everything that is<br>
located in xorg.conf.d.<br>
So create a new file or attach this to your keyboard config (it<br>
doesn't matter):<br>

Section "Device"<br>
Identifier "Device0"<br>
Driver "nvidia"<br>
VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"<br>
Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1"<br>
EndSection<br>
<br>
This should fix your problems. Reboot and enjoy. But if you
experience<br>
any trouble and you get thrown into terminal-mode, remove the
file.<br>
