<div dir="ltr"><div>Could this be why I see a difference between Fedora 18 and Fedora 19? In Fedora 18, booted to Gnome 3, the CPU is high. When I set Fedora 18 to fallback mode, the CPU usage drops to normal levels. Then in Fedora 19 it doesn't seem to matter what mode I am in, the CPU usage is always high.<br>

In a regular environment I always disable them. They may be helpful
to some tasks for some users, but not for me and they all really
suck up CPU cycles when taken together.<br>

Might there be some way to disable them in a LiveCD? I have not
