<div dir="ltr">Well, in my point of view, I agree to some extent.<br>The name Add/Remove Software doesn't look tempting to get new software, but on the other hand we don't want to "pollute" Linux ot Fedora with words such as Store or Mart, we are always talking about "free"!.<br>
<br>I think that a plausible solution might be something as for example something neutral like "AppSpace" to make it more tempting (Just an opinion).<br>We could also think about some enhancements such as reviews, ratings, top lists and such things that would make things easier and more beautiful.<br>
TBH, i believe the whole interface should be studied again.<br>In addition, We also should improve searching techniques to make finding programs easier.<br><br>All of that might be done, but we should also not exceed the limits to make it exclusively for absolute beginners.<br>

</div></div>It is not trying to be cool or to mislabel anything. It is to clarify<br>
and encourage self-discovery for users who would otherwise be saying<br>
that "oh, this is Linux. it is difficult."<br>

I'm game to alias PackageKit to be something more obvious to the growing<br>
group of users who have understood what a app store is.<br>

You are reading more into the whole idea by pulling in DRM and payment<br>
issues. When users use a Fedora Mart and realize that all of the stuff<br>
available is DRM-free and zero cost, I am sure they will appreciate<br>
Fedora for what it really is.<br>
