I have also been using Ubuntu on my PC for nearly three years now. I have contributed (and still am) to the Unity Design Team list. There is a Fedora Design Team list which used to meet on IRC every Thurs. at 20:00 UTC, but do not anymore. I am still contributing to the list though. If you have good design skills, that would be the list for you. It does not contribute to the actual features, only the look and feel. But I'd you would like to contribute in that way, I will be glad to help you out if you need help joking the list and introducing yourself. Thanks!!!

Thankyou for taking time to reply back Ryan. I'd be glad to work on
the smallest possible project and contribute to the Fedora
community. And regarding my design skills I've not yet made an
official online portfolio with all my featured works, but I maintain
