Name : systemd
Product : Fedora 15
Version : 26
Release : 8.fc15
URL : http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/systemd
Summary : A System and Service Manager
Description :
systemd is a system and service manager for Linux, compatible with
SysV and LSB init scripts. systemd provides aggressive parallelization
capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services,
offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using
Linux cgroups, supports snapshotting and restoring of the system
state, maintains mount and automount points and implements an
elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic. It can
work as a drop-in replacement for sysvinit.

Update Information:

This systemd update brings the following changes:

* Fixes a bug where systemd 'forgot' to start enabled services. Known cases were sendmail and squid, whose scripts in `/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/` could trigger a race condition in systemd.
* Fixes compatibility with kernel versions that offer a different set of capabilities than the version systemd was compiled against. Affected services were failing with `status=218/CAPABILITIES`.
* Improves the behavior of the `shutdown` command. It now parses time specifications the same way the SysVinit and upstart implementations did. The '`-k`' parameter now works. Passing a wall message on the command line does not remove the standard message anymore.
* Fixes the accidental trimming of cgroups on re-exec of systemd that prevented libvirtd from starting new guests.
* Fixes loading of template units when following symlinks.
* Fixes a crash in an error path of `systemadm`.
* The error message *See system logs and 'systemctl status' for details* is now slightly less confusing as it includes the unit name.
* Improves compatibility with customized kernels (with disabled swap, hugepages, or mqueue)
* `systemd-tmpfiles` now continues processing if it cannot access all files. This could happen on some FUSE filesystems.
* Fixes a crash in `tty-ask-password-agent`.
* The pager used by `systemctl` can be now overridden using the `SYSTEMD_PAGER` environment variable. Using an empty string disables the pager.
