Description :
Babl is a dynamic, any to any, pixel format conversion library. It
provides conversions between the myriad of buffer types images can be
stored in. Babl doesn't only help with existing pixel formats, but also
facilitates creation of new and uncommon ones.

Update Information:

These packages contain enhancements (new gegl operations, n-component formats in babl) as well as stability, threading and performance improvements.

Testing should concentrate on ruling out regressions in consumers of these libs, i.e. gimp (run with "Colors->Use GEGL" enabled, check gegl ops in "Tools/GEGL Operation...") and gnome-scan.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update babl' at the command line.
