Description :
Xawtv is a simple xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or
video4linux. Xawtv contains various command-line utilities for
grabbing images and .avi movies, for tuning in to TV stations, etc.
Xawtv also includes a grabber driver for vic.

Update Information:

Update to version 3.100

v4l1 support is dropped. Two drivers are present now: "v4l2" and "libv4l" (default, an additional userspace layer over v4l2).

A lot of patches applied upstream.

Still uses OSS for audio.

su -c 'yum update xawtv' at the command line.
