--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ladvd
Product : Fedora 16
Version : 1.0.2
Release : 1.fc16
URL : http://www.blinkenlights.nl/software/ladvd/
Summary : CDP/LLDP sender for UNIX
Description :
ladvd uses CDP / LLDP frames to inform switches about connected hosts, which
simplifies Ethernet switch management. Every 30 seconds it will transmit CDP/
LLDP packets reflecting the current system state. Interfaces (bridge, bonding,
wireless), capabilities (bridging, forwarding, wireless) and addresses (IPv4,
IPv6) are detected dynamically.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Brings ladvd to latest version. Please note: upstream no longer enables LLDP by default. Fedora in F16 will retain old behaviour. However, F17 and later won't have LLDP on by default, like in upstream package.
