Description :
Cronie contains the standard UNIX daemon crond that runs specified programs at
scheduled times and related tools. It is a fork of the original vixie-cron and
has security and configuration enhancements like the ability to use pam and
SELinux.

Update Information:

Cron jobs sometimes don't run e.g. when environment is using XDG_RUNTIME_DIR.

Cron daemon unit file should use KillMode=process to kill dependent processes.

Scriptlets now working fine with added dependency on systemd.

su -c 'yum update cronie' at the command line.
