This package contains digital TV scan tables that are used by TV applications
to scan for channels.

Update Information:

The files on this package describe the several frequencies used by different digital TV broadcasters and server provides around the globe. It requires periodically update.

Also, the upstream package now has a new format, capable of describing all digital TV standards supported by the Linux Kernel.

During the conversion, several bugs were found and fixed.

As some apps still relies on the old format, create two separate packages: one with the dvbv5 API format, and the other one with the legacy format.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use
su -c 'yum update dtv-scan-tables' at the command line.
