The Shoreline Firewall, more commonly known as "Shorewall", is a
Netfilter (iptables) based firewall that can be used on a dedicated
firewall system, a multi-function gateway/ router/server or on a
standalone GNU/Linux system.

Update Information:

Update to 4.6.3.4.  Problems corrected:

1)  Including a PREROUTING SECTION in the accounting file
    unconditionally resulted in a fatal error:

    ERROR: The PREROUTING SECTION is not allowed when
           ACCOUNTING_TABLE=filter

2)  Previously, the compiler could generate many superfluous rules to enforce the 'tcpflags', 'nosmurfs' and 'maclist' interface options.

3)  Remove the 'optional' option from the Universal 'net' entry in interfaces.

4)  Don't check for required interfaces on 'stop' and 'clear'.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use
su -c 'yum update shorewall' at the command line.
